Turkey Flat Rose (2015) - 750mL
in a mixed or straight dozen
The Barossa Valley has the perfect climate and ideal grape varieties to produce Rosé. It is a wine style that should be enjoyed fresh and chilled.
Having been amongst the first to lead the great Rosé revival, it has been interesting for the producers to watch the popularity of this wine style grow. Turkey Flat dedicate one vineyard to Rosé ensuring continuity of style.
A hot and dry summer, combined with low yields, created a growing season ideal from Grenache with intense varietal flavour. This has translated to a vibrant Rose with unparalleled aromatics and natural fruit weight.
Salmon pink in colour, the nose is undeniably forward with strawberry, raspberry and rose petal. An ample palate follows brimming with round, luscious fruit and a whisper of cream and spice. Soft tannins define the palate and lead to a persistent finish.
