A bright salmon pink colour, a refined and complexe aromatic nose that reveals grapefruit, and exotic fruit. The intense fruity taste provides a nice harmony due to a natural acidity and the concentrated harvest, resulting in complexity and a long finish.

In the vineyard:

This exceptional cuvée is produced in very limited quantities. It is made from a selection of Chateau Sainte Roseline's best plots and meets stringent production criteria in order to obtain the most perfect grape possible.

Under the influence of the sea, the clay-limestone soils allow the Mourvèdre grapes to reach their full potential.

Through an environmentally-friendly approach, growing techniques such as ploughing and keeping grassy areas next to the vine rows are used.

These practices are intended to preserve fauna and flora, ensuring the land remains healthy.

Chateau Sainte Roseline select bunches to control yields then remove leaves to make sure every bunch receives maximum sunshine.

Winemaking:

The harvest takes place at night to avoid any colouring.

In the cellar, the bunches are conveyed on a belt to prevent any damage, then carefully sorted and destemmed.

The grapes are gently pressed with inert pneumatic presses, preventing oxidation.

The must goes through cold stabulation for 8 days before alcoholic fermentation, followed by settling to give clear juice.

Temperatures are controlled throughout fermentation to fully express aromas.

Following fermentation, the wines are matured on lees with stirring.

Bottling is carried out in an inert atmosphere with the greatest care.

Grapes:

Mourvèdre : 85%
Syrah : 15%
