Hand picked from vines that are over 20 years old, the Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and Molinara grapes are added to a cask containing the skins and lees left over from recently fermented Amarone wines.
The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 24 months producing an elegant deep wine with rich concentrated flavours.
A nose of berries and raisins with a touch of spice - a taste of rich dark fruit, red berries, coffee and a subtle hint of raisins and a texture of chocolate.
On slight slope the vineyard "Campanar" is about twenty years of age.
