Deep and sustained color. In the mouth, full, sweet and very fruity.

The tannins are dense and refined.

Viticulture:

Harvested by hand with meticulous sorting, then in the cellar before and after destemming

Winemaking:

Two vats, one equipped with small "vats tulips " in concrete (since 2013), to increase plot selection, perfect extraction and refine the assembly.

Aged in barrels (1/3 new wood) for 16 at 18 months, stirring lees during the first 4 months

About Domaine de Chevalier:

Located in Léognan, capital of the Graves, the Domaine de Chevalier is of very ancient origin - represented in 1783 on the map of Pierre de Belleyme by the geographer / engineer of Louis XVI.

In 1983, the property was acquired by the Bernard family, leading French brandy producer and important wine merchant Bordeaux.

Since then it has been managed by Olivier Bernard surrounded by his team with a quest for perfection as has been excellence for this wine for 140 years.
