60 % Cabernet Sauvignon
30 % Merlot
  5 % Petit Verdot
  5 % Cabernet Franc

Dark, intense aromas with complex flavours of finesse and distinction.

Strong hints of blackberry, blackcurrant, black cherry and blueberry.

Mineral flavours, set obvious by a touch of graphite. Smoked and fresh mint, express the mixed gravelly soil with clay.

The high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon gives a spicy character.

A fresh, sweet and fruity attack on the palate evolves on an important tannic structure soft and of high quality.

A return of smoked mouth, licorice, resinous refers on the nose fruity aromas.

The tannins are very elegant. They bring the wine in a superb finish, delicate and balanced with good acidity.

About Domaine de Chevalier:

Located in Léognan, capital of the Graves, the Domaine de Chevalier is of very ancient origin - represented in 1783 on the map of Pierre de Belleyme by the geographer / engineer of Louis XVI.
