The palate is energetic and is backed up by intense dark red fruit that follows with a long flavourful finish.

Simple winemaking techniques are used to extract the best from grapes grown in expertly nurtured vineyards in the aim of making consistently excellent wines.

Klein Constantia strive to produce wines of high quality that express elements of elegance, minerality and balance - focusing on the red varietals that do best at Klein Constantia, thus Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec make up the final blend.

Malolactic fermentation in 50% new French oak barrels

Deep granite with yellow-brown and reddish-brown Oakleaf on lower slopes.

Glenrosa and Saprolite subsoil on higher slopes
