LAST 4 REMAINING
Brane Cantenac 2eme GCC (2010)
750mL / Bordeaux / France
Museum release direct from Chateau.
The 2010 Brane-Cantenac is a beautifully crafted Margaux with a deep, ruby-red color that still shows youthful vibrancy. On the nose, it opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe blackcurrants, dark cherries, and plums, intertwined with delicate floral notes of violets and a hint of crushed graphite. As it evolves, subtle nuances of cedar, tobacco, and a touch of earthy truffle emerge, adding complexity.
On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and richly textured, with velvety tannins that provide a firm yet refined structure. The flavors mirror the nose, with an intense core of dark fruits, complemented by notes of cocoa, espresso, and a touch of sweet spice. The wine has a long, lingering finish, characterized by a perfect balance of freshness and depth, suggesting it has many more years of aging potential ahead. Enjoyable now with decanting, but will continue to evolve beautifully in the cellar.
