The Hartford Court Far Coast Vineyard Chardonnay 2021 is a single-vineyard Russian River Valley Chardonnay grown close enough to the coast that the maritime influence is clear in the glass, leaning saline and mineral rather than fruit-forward. It is one of the more distinctive wines in this range for that reason alone.

Lemon, green apple and a distinct saline, sea-spray note sit on the nose, with wet stone underneath. The palate is precise and mineral, citrus fruit playing a supporting role to that briny, chalky character running through the middle, with real focus from entry to finish.

Acidity is bright and cutting, texture fine and taut, with a long, saline finish that lingers on stone rather than fruit, echoing that coastal influence throughout.
