Castagna's Chenin Blanc 2022 is a rare Australian expression of the Loire variety, biodynamically grown on the estate's Beechworth granite.

Quince, green apple and a distinct wet-stone minerality define the nose, with chenin's natural high acidity giving the palate real tension. It is a taut, linear style, built more for cellaring than immediate richness.

The variety's affinity for granite soils shows clearly here, echoing the mineral drive found in the best Loire examples.
