Uniting coffee, chocolate & wattleseed - crafted from buttery rich spirit, infused with fresh roasted and ground Arabica Cofee Beans, fortified with deep, rich cocoa nibs & given a generous does of locally sourced wattleseed.

Økar Mocha is a velvet, luscious liqueuer with a wild and untamesd Australian heart.

The Method and Result:

Beginning with a coffee blend of Mexican, Brazilian and Papuan beans supplied to by Mighty Mighty Coffee Roasters, Økar have gone for a softer approach than macerating the roasted coffee directly into ethanol by making a cold brew coffee which was then fortified with wattleseed and cacao spirit.

Then a combination of Wattleseed, Cacao, Coconut and Davidson Plum was macerated to reconstruct and emphasise the coffee profile when fresh.

Raw granulated sugar was used to blend with the fortification, resulting in less sweetness but retaining the oily mouthfeel that is crucial to a high-quality coffee liqueur.

The result is a complex and intricate Coffee Liqueur that is a total point of difference from anything else on the market.

Balanced, luscious coffee is complemented by soft tropical fruit, earthy wattleseed and a sweet hit of chocolate and spice.
