Nashdale Lane Rosé (2025)

750mL / Orange / Australia

Category: Wine
Sub-Category: Rose Wine

Nashdale Lane's Rosé 2025 is made from grapes grown at altitude in Orange, where cooler conditions keep the fruit fresh and the finished wine pale and taut rather than broad or sweet. It fits the lighter, more European-leaning style of rosé increasingly favoured in Australia, and shows the region's natural acid clearly.

Strawberry, red currant and a light floral note define the nose, with a crisp, mineral edge, a faint citrus lift and a touch of white pepper. The palate is dry and refreshing, red fruit carried on bright acid without any sweetness lingering, and a clean, precise finish.

Light-bodied and clean, the finish is crisp and short, built for easy, repeated pouring rather than contemplation, with the acid keeping every glass lively right through the bottle.

It matches easily with a seafood platter, a simple salad, a charcuterie board, fresh oysters, or a plate of prosciutto on a warm afternoon.

Drink it young, within its first year, while the fruit and freshness that define it are still at their peak.
