Table of Plenty Nebbiolo Rose 2025 is made from Nebbiolo grown at Tumblong Hills in Gundagai, in the elevated South West Slopes of New South Wales - an unusual choice of variety for a rose, given Nebbiolo's reputation for tannin and structure in Piedmont. Here it is picked and made to show a lighter, savoury side, with a pale onion-skin colour typical of the variety.

Red cherry, rosehip and a dried herbal note lead the nose, with the variety's characteristic earthiness showing through even at this lighter weight. There is a faint tar-like note in the background that hints at Nebbiolo's more serious red wine side.

The palate is dry with fine, subtle tannin grip unusual in a rose, and bright acidity carrying a savoury, structured finish rather than a purely fruity one. This is a rose with more to say than most.

Its structure suits it to food more than most roses - try it with charcuterie, roast chicken or a mushroom risotto. It also pairs well with a simple plate of prosciutto and melon.
