Anna Spinato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG

750mL / Prosecco / Italy

Category: Wine
Sub-Category: Sparkling

Tasting Notes:

Bright straw yellow, Anna Spinato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG presents a rich and intense foam and dense columns of fine perlage.

Intense aromas of citrus like lemon and cedar, notes of Granny Smith apple and white flower, ends with a slight note of breadcrust.

The palate is fresh - citrus and green apple with creamy bubbles.

Winemaker Notes:

After the natural fermentation, the wine has one month stop onthe lees in order to be refined, stabilized and made more complex. After that takes place the second fermentation inside the steel tank for 4 weeks until the appropriate residual sugar is achieved. This Prosécco is extremely well balanced with a residual sugar level of 11.1gm/litre giving it an attractive, zesty mouthfeel. Ideal as aperitif and salty finger foods.

About the vineyard:

Sourced from one of the best regions in Italy - Gleranear, the village of Valdobbiadene – a cool climate area just below the Alpine-Dolomite areas of Veneto.

The hilly area soils are of morainic origin (from the glacial era). The vineyard is trained with double-arch canes.
