Château Doisy Daëne is a Cru Classé Sauternes wine estate in the Barsac appellation in the southern part of Bordeaux. The vineyard is situated on a limestone plateau and has 27 hectares of vineyards, primarily planted with Semillon grapes, but also with some Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle.

The 2017 Château Doisy Daëne Cru Classé En 1855 Barsac Sauternes is a complex and concentrated wine, with notes of honey, apricot, and white flowers on the nose. On the palate, it is rich and creamy, with flavors of peach and tropical fruits, as well as a hint of caramel and spice. The finish is long and luscious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.

This wine is a blend of 85% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon Blanc, and 5% Muscadelle. It was aged for 18 months in oak barrels, with around 40% of them being new. The wine is best enjoyed with desserts, such as crème brûlée, fruit tarts, or blue cheese. It can also be served as an aperitif, paired with foie gras or spicy Asian dishes.
