Château Rieussec is a premier grand cru classé (First Growth) Sauternes wine estate located in the Bordeaux region of France. The Carmes de Rieussec is the second wine of the estate and is made from younger vines and less concentrated grapes than the first wine. The 2017 vintage of Carmes de Rieussec is a blend of 94% Semillon and 6% Sauvignon Blanc.

The wine has a bright, golden color and aromas of honey, apricot, and orange blossom. On the palate, it is rich and luscious with flavors of candied citrus, dried apricot, and honey. The wine is well-balanced with a refreshing acidity that gives it a clean finish.
