Château Rieussec is a Premier Cru Classé (First Growth) winery located in the Sauternes appellation of Bordeaux. The 2019 vintage is a blend of 83% Semillon, 17% Sauvignon Blanc and 1% Muscadelle, and was aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which were new.

In the glass, the wine has a bright golden color with aromas of honey, apricot, peach, and white flowers. On the palate, it is rich and luscious with flavors of candied fruit, honey, and vanilla, with a touch of acidity to balance the sweetness. The finish is long and persistent with a pleasant, slightly bitter note.

This wine has great aging potential and can be enjoyed now or cellared for decades to come. It would make a perfect pairing for foie gras, blue cheese, or a decadent dessert.
