After years of making wines all around the world - from the Hunter to Bordeaux - Alex Retief has called Sydney "home" for the last little while. Gorwing and purchasing Biodynamic fruit from Gundagai, Hilltops and Tumbarumba, he's making some super interesting expressions of well known and overlooked varietals.
We'll be pouring three of his wines that particularly caught our attention: a classic Tumbarumba Chardonnay, a complex, oxidative Jura-Style Chardy and a floral Petit Verdot from Hilltops.
