Free Thursday Tasting – 1683 Wines
5–7pm | Friday November 28
Join us for a special evening with winemaker Gordes, the talent behind 1683 Wines. Before launching his own label, Gordes honed his craft at two of the world’s most respected estates — Domaine Armand Rousseau in Burgundy and Felton Road in Central Otago — where he absorbed the art of precision, patience, and terroir-driven winemaking.
Founded on these principles, 1683 Wines is a small-batch project celebrating varietal clarity and vineyard expression. We’ll be pouring three of Gordes’ elegant reds: Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon — each revealing his Burgundian sense of balance and texture, with an unmistakable sense of place.
Come meet Gordes in person, taste his meticulously crafted wines, and experience how world-class training translates beautifully into Australian soil.
