Established in 1851, Seppeltsfield houses Australia's greatest collection of fortified wines dating back to 1878. At the cornerstone of this group is the unique Para Centenary collection with consecutive vintages going back to 1878. We believe Seppeltsfield is the only winery in the world to release a 100 year old wine each year. The Seppeltsfield fortified wine portfolio incorporates a wide range of styles including sherry, muscat and tokay as well as tawny and vintage style wines.

The Wine

Seppeltsfield's DP57 Grand Tokay is crafted from the Muscadelle varietal, sourced exclusively from the Rutherglen region in North West Victoria. The Muscadelle that forms the DP57 Grand Tokay is left on the vine for an extended ripening period. The resultant fruit is high in natural sugar levels which is then briefly fermented and fortified, to produce an indulgent and seamless wine. Seppeltsfield's DP57 Grand Tokay is a blend of vintage years, all of which have been matured in individual components.

With a palate of great intensity, this wine shows luscious sweet tea leaf, caramel and bu5erscotch characters. Quality fortification spirit is evident, complemented by fine natural acid balance.
