An intense ruby ??red colour with perfumes of peach and read fruit.

Ripe with a spice reminiscent of cinnamon, are the most typical characteristics of this wine.

The classic Valpolicella "Ripasso" also preserves the taste the notes of withering of the Amarone and the drinkability of the vintage Valpolicella. Elegate, round and persistent.

Only 7000 bottles of Vigna 800 Valpolicella Ripasso are produced each year and we got our hands on some!

Hand picked from vines that are over 20 years old, the Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone and Molinara grapes are added to a cask containing the skins and lees left over from recently fermented Amarone wines.

The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 24 months producing an elegant deep wine with rich concentrated flavours.

A nose of berries and raisins with a touch of spice - a taste of rich dark fruit, red berries, coffee and a subtle hint of raisins and a texture of chocolate.

On slight slope the vineyard "Campanar" is about twenty years of age.

After harvesting the grapes, the must comes fermented in steel and subsequently "revived", in the month of February on the pomace of the amarone, in order to obtain one structure and a body that makes it
single. Modern but with the tradition inside, the Classic Valpolicella "Ripasso", thanks to his good structure and an important one aging in bottle, it is also suitable for long aging.
