100% Tempranillo, the most common variety of the area.

The grapes come from old vines more than fifty years old located in Sonsierra.

Harvested in October only clusters with optimal characteristics for winemaking are selected.

Fermentation takes place at 28º and maceration lasts about two weeks.

The wine is aged in barrels of French and American oak for about 16 months and then aged in bottle for 6 to 8 months.
