Raspberry, red cherry and a faint white pepper spice lead the nose, with the palate staying light-bodied and lively, and a faint watermelon note showing on the mid-palate that adds to its refreshing character. Tannin is soft and fine, keeping the focus on fruit and freshness rather than grip, and the whole wine carries a lightness that suits warmer weather especially well.
