Category: Wine
Sub-Category: Red wine

Paolo Scavino Barolo Carobric DOCG 2014 is a red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy, specifically from the Barolo appellation. This wine is a blend of three different vineyards: Rocche di Castiglione, Fiasco and Bric del Fiasc. The grapes are hand-harvested and aged for 24 months in oak barrels, followed by another 12 months of bottle aging.

This Barolo Carobric has a garnet-red color and a complex bouquet of red fruit, licorice, and spice notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins, good acidity and a long finish. This wine can be aged for several more years to allow its flavors to develop further.

Paolo Scavino Barolo Carobric DOCG 2014 pairs well with rich meat dishes, such as roasted lamb or beef, and aged cheeses. It should be served at a temperature between 16-18°C.
