Category: Wine
Sub-Category: Red wine

The Paolo Scavino Barolo Carobric DOCG 2015 is a red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy. It is made from a blend of three different vineyards: Rocche di Castiglione, Fiasco, and Carobric. The wine is aged in oak barrels for approximately 24 months before being bottled.

The wine has a deep ruby red color and a complex bouquet of red fruit, flowers, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, with firm tannins and a long finish. It is recommended to decant the wine for at least an hour before serving to allow it to fully open up.

This Barolo pairs well with meat dishes such as roasted lamb or beef, as well as with aged cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a meditation wine. The wine has aging potential of 20-30 years, and it is recommended to store it in a cool, dark place with a constant temperature.
