The Dr Thanisch Riesling Kabinett offers a lovely pure and smoky bouquet of white stone fruit that lead to a light to medium-bodied, round and juicy, stimulatingly piquant and grippy palate that has nice grip in the finish.

This is perfect Riesling for all situations. Classic Kabinett style, which means 10% alcohol and a charming 21 grams of residual sugar.

About the Thanisch family vineyards:

The Thanisch family has cultivated wine continuously since the year 1636 and can look back on a history covering more than 375 years.

The estate has been run as a family business for 11th generation, of which the last four generations were women.

The boutique estate is 7ha (16 acres) in size, including the most famous vineyard in Germany, the Berncasteler Doctor and the top vineyards Bernkasteler Badstube, Bernkasteler Lay and Bernkasteler Graben.

All of the vineyards are planted with 100% Riesling vines, most of which are mature and on original rootstocks.
