Domaine Manoir du Carra La Levée Pouilly-Fuissé (2020)

750mL / Burgundy / France

Category: Wine
Sub-Category: White Wine

Domaine Manoir du Carra La Levée Pouilly-Fuissé displays aromas of ripe apples and citrus that leads to a slightly oaked and buttery, creamy vanilla style of wine.

The pallet is fruity and complimenting the complex aromas - hints of apricot and dry coconut aromas.

Delicious!

About Famille Sambardier:

Located in Denicé, in the south of Burgundy and in the heart of Beaujolais country, the Manoir du Carra has been a wine-growing property since 1850. A mansion and a winegrower's house, each with its own vaulted cellar, still bear witness to the history and tradition attached to the Domain.

Shaped by the Sambardier family for generations, the property now extends over more than 34 hectares of vines and allows the production of appellations as renowned as Beaujolais Villages, Brouilly, Julienas, Moulin à Vent but also some plot selections such as the unfiltered cuvée or Carracterres.

From father to son, each member of the Sambardier family has been able, over the generations, to bring their touch, their experience and their know-how to shape the character of the wines produced at the property. Today, it is with their eyes turned towards the future that Jean-Frédéric and Damien Sambardier are working on the development of the Domaine.

From 4 hectares in 1962, the surface of the vineyard is now around 34 hectares and is home to different appellations. Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages, Brouilly, Julienas, Moulin à Vent, Fleurie and Beaujolais Blanc now ensure the reputation and renown of the Domaine well beyond our borders.
