KOON Japanese Gin is a blend of mixed spirirts includding sweet potato, grape and barley, infused with local botanicals and Yuzu, the japanese citrus fruit - infused with juniper and local herbs from the Nagano area.

The wine is very concentrated with good structure, and the middle palate displaying savory, tobacco leaves and nutty flavours - a serious pinot noir for the true pinot noir fan - very limited allocation received.

Aromatically it leans towards morello cherry and raspberry, with rhubarb, crushed violet and a hint of forest floor sitting underneath. The palate follows the perfume closely: red berries first, then a savoury turn through blood orange and dried thyme, with a faint peppery lift.
