Winemaker Julien Cornud, also a nurseryman and producer at Domaine de Ju en Ventoux, is a lover of his terroir. Located at the foot of the cliffs overlooking the village of Cairanne, which has become a Cru since the 2015 vintage, Mas des Falaises benefits from a privileged environment for cultivating exceptional vines.

Tasting Notes:

Domaine de Ju Cairanne Mas des Falaises exchibits deep ruby ​​red and is very aromatic with an intense nose of cherry, blackcurrant and spices.

On the palate, it delivers a beautiful structure as well as fine and silky tannins.

The finish is long and spicy.

15% Carignan

Winemaking:

Destemming, long maceration of 4 weeks to delicately and gently extract the color and tannins, with regular destemming and pumping over.

Aged in concrete vats to show the purest expression of the terroir and its typicality.

Ageing:

8 months in concrete tank.

Pebbly red clays of the scrublands.
