The palate of Allegiance Wine The Artisan Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon shows a richness of dark berry and cherry fruits, along withearthy toasted spice characters.

The wine shows good structure, withfine elegant tannins and a lingering finish.

The Vineyard:

Single vineyard in southern Coonawarra. The vines are clone SA125planted in 1997. The soil is grey loam over clay and limestone. The drierand leaner parts of the block develop riper, more concentrated fruit. Thetrellis is single cordon with 2 bud spur pruning yielding approximately 6tonne per hectare.
