Dappled Wines Appellation Pinot Noir 2021 is a blend of two fantastic Upper Yarra Pinot sites in Gladysdale and Macclesfield.

Tasting notes:

The wine pours out a bright ruby red colour and has high notes of cherry liqueur and raspberry fruit.

There's also complex aromas of roasted chicory and chinese five spice.

The palate is round and lush with cherry cola and red berry flavours.

It's silky smooth on the mid palate with spice and complex flavours.

Sappy tannins fanning out to finish.

This Pinot is beautiful and an absolute pleasure to drink now, but will reward cellaring also.

Winemaking:

All natural ferments with 25% whole bunch plus an average of 15-20 days on skins. Aged for 10 months in French oak Barrique's and Puncheons (10% new). Bottled by gravity, un-fined and unfiltered.
