Barringwood Mill Block Pinot Noir is a complex and elegant wine with aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, and a hint of forest floor. Barringwood vineyard is located on a steep north facing slope overlooking the Don Valley in Tasmania's central North. Established in 1993 the vineyard rises to an elevation of 280m and has one of the longest growing seasons in Tasmania giving their wines delicacy, elegance and immense complexity as well as a distinct backbone of cool climate acidity. Their success in producing outstanding wines on a climatically marginal site is dependent on supreme diligence and attention to detail in the vineyard.
