Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Rouge Cuvée Margot (2020)

750mL / Burgundy / France

Category: Wine
Sub-Category: Red wine

Flattering nose with aromas of small red fruits (strawberry, raspberry). A fresh and elegant palate with crunchy fruit and fine tannins.

Olivier Leflaive was co-manager of Domaine Leflaive until 1994 before withdrawing to concentrate on his own venture which he started in 1985. Today the domaine produces wine from some 65 appellations with 85% of the production being white wine. One of Burgundy’s most respected producers the estate produces a number of domaine wines from its own vineyards alongside its range of negocé bottlings. The wines are made by Franck Grux and the theme in their wines is elegance and finesse rather than power with restrained use of oak and great purity of fruit.
