Brilliant ruby red in colour with aromas of strawberries, raspberries with floral undertones.

Allegiance Wines L’Artiste Tumbarumba 2022 Pinot Noir is an exciting entanglement of fresh red cherries, cured meats andsucculent spicy characters.

The wine has silky texture andintriguing complexity with a more-ish clean finish.

Winemaking Notes:

Harvested during the cool of the night and sent straight to the winery.

Gently crushed and destemmed before being sent straight tobag press for gentle pressing.

Inoculated yeast, fermented cool topromote freshness and zip, over a 14 day period with a moderateamount of juice solids prior to ferment to build body & frame.

Mild battonage on lees for the 4 months, fermented & matured on lightlytoasted 15% new French oak for 7 months deliveringcomplexity,volume & texture on the palate.

Sulphites only (Vegan Friendly).

Bright, pale ruby-red, very viscous. Expansive noseof cherries withtouches of graphite and pepper. Full-flavoured on the palate, withgenerous dollops of fruit and spice, then fresh andmineral on thefinish. Just right with subtly-spiced cuisine.

About the Vineyard:

Coppabella – Wagga Road, Roséwood

This parcel comes from asingle vineyard site at approximately 600m above sea level in thecool climate region of Tumbarumba.

The soil is basalt and thetrellis system is VSP spur pruned.

Located in the Snowy Mountainsof NSW, it is the coolest viticultural region on mainland Australia.
