Reviews:
"This seems a better wine to me than the Volnay, though maybe I was just having an off day. Importer: Single Vineyard Sellers. It has a bloody, steely/ozone thing about it, which I guess is typical Pommard. Cherry, mint and dried herbs, subtle vanilla and spiced oak. It’s medium-bodied, cherry and plum, bright fresh berry acidity, a fine chalky grip to tannin, a ferrous element too, and a bright and juicy finish of good length. Some blood orange in the aftertaste. It’s a good wine. Vivacious and crunchy. Rated: 93 Points" Alcohol : 14% Price : $165. Gary Walsh. The Wine Front
"Medium-deep red-purple colour; aromas of dried herbs, dry grass and dried mushrooms overlying dark cherries; the wine is quite full in the mouth with abundant flavour and backed by firm tannins. It's a touch grippy on its own but would work much better with appropriate food. There's a lovely deep core of sweet ripe dark cherry fruit. A solid Burgundy with ageing potential. 96 points" Huon Hooke. The Real Review
"Salty, mineral freshness extends from nose to finish in this ripe, broad-shouldered wine. Red-cherry and plum flavors are fleshy and concentrated on the palate, lifted by a tang of cranberry acidity and a pleasantly leafy, herbal finish. Soft in tannins and kissed with sweet spice, the wine is ready now but will likely to hold through 2029 93 points"- Anna Lee C. Iijima. Wine Enthusiast
