Domaine Charly Nicolle Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu shows hues of yellow straw and shines brilliant with clarity, filling the nose with delicate, pure aromas.

Floral notes of acacia and its claylimestone origins reign. In mouth, its character, the terroir and all the qualities of a Mont de Milieu are revealed: mineral and rich, powerful ripe fruit.

Vineyard:

Located in a placed called 'mont de milieu' in Fleys (AOC Chablis Premier Cru) the soil is clay and limestone on underlying kimmeridgian. The vines are planted about 8300 vines per hectare and are between 50 and 60 years old.

Winemaking:

Fermented naturally for approximately 30 days (100% malolactic) at a controlled temperature of approximately 16-18 degrees before maturing for 12 months on lees in stainless steel vats.  Final fining and filtration before bottling.

Aging:

Between 5 and 7 years
