Eradus Sauvignon Blanc (2023)

750mL / Marlborough / New Zealand

Category: Wine
Sub-Category: White Wine

Awatere Valley is one of three sub-regions within the famous Marlborough wine region.

The vines at Eradus estate grow on a slender terrace at the edge of the Awatere River, with a climate and soil structure all of its own. Influenced by a fault line, a river, and the power of the nearby Pacific Ocean, their terroir is stony and dry, windy and cool, so that our wines have elegance, minerality and crisp clean acidity.

Eradus let the untamable terroir of the Awatere Valley speak through our vines, creating wines that are the Essence of the Awatere.

Tasting Notes:

Pure zingy citrus fruits and lovely subtle minerality on the palate, complimented with floral notes of nettle, tomato stalk and lime.

A balanced and rounded wine with a long concentrated clean crisp finish - without the need for a Quick-Eze like some Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc!
