he nose displays fresh mulberries interweaved with blackberry compote, cherry and violet. Quite lifted and vibrant, the nose also hints at a little sweetness in the form of toffee apple.
The palate reveals a wine of subtle power, showing an array of dark fruits, cacao bean, orange zest, star anise, and hints of black pepper. The palate is driven, beautifully layered and finishes with bright energetic acidity.

An average of 20% whole-bunch across multiple parcels. Some wines racked early, while others remain on lees until the last minute. After blending, there's a further month of maturation on light lees in reorganised oak before racking and bottling in-house, with no filtration.

The red grape colours have precipitated away over time, leaving a true ‘tawny’ colour after two decades in barrel. A powerful and complex nose full of nuts, toffee, intense spice and fresh rancio characters reflect its age and complexity. On the palate, toffee, mocha, coffee and intense nuttiness all combine to create rich luscious flavours. The finish is long with lingering flavours of a fine very old fortified.
Aromas of spun sugar, candied pineapple and honeysuckle are the start to the flavoursome journey. The palate is coated by luscious honey and sweet citrus followed by flavours of crèmebrulée, and subtle spice. Freshly balanced acidity provides a clean finish, which entices you back for more.
This refreshing style Rose was made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, grown on Wooing Tree's family ownedvineyard. Showing delightful aromas of raspberry, strawberry and pink grapefruit,with an abundance of ripe berries and stone fruit on the palate.
Ripe hand picked fruit, gentle winemaking and maturation in French oak have resulted in a complex and powerful wine, with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and Black Doris plums, a rich and silky smooth palate with fine grainy tannins to match the fruit. Excellent value, drinking fantastically well now and will develop and cellar for several years.
