Vintage 2022 delivered warm days and cool nights, providing a long, slow maturation period. The result is a wine that is densely packed with rich, dark primary fruits and a palate that is sweet, supple and rounded. This wine is aged for a short period in a combination of French and American oak. This adds a spiced structural element that enhances complexity and interest.

Dark purple vibrant red in colour, the aromas are intensely berry driven intermingled with plum pudding spice and freshly ground coffee. The palate is concentrated and full of primary fruit flavours that are held together by silky tannins and syrupy fruit persistence, a complex and layered wine.

Grown on the old cattle holding yards and hand-picked from the old vines at our Slaughterhouse Paddock Vineyard, this wine is made to reflect the power and richness of Heathcote Shiraz. Ripe, robust and generously flavoured, this beautifully crafted shiraz offers an infusion of dark berry fruits and cedary oak-derived spices.

Bright dark red purple in colour, this wine is hypnotic – a floral bouquet entwined with fresh red berries and sweetly spiced French oak highlights. These aromas combine to produce a wine that is both complex and engaging. The palate is balanced, fresh and alluring coupled with fine yet supportive tannins and vibrant primary fruit flavours.

Gold with green-gold tints. Reminiscent of white flowers, cumquat, honeycomb, hints of marzipan, nutmeg and cardamom spice. Luscious and intense, flavours of dried citrus, fresh apricots, lavender and fresh honey are complemented by fine mineral acidity.

This tantalising and intense botrytis wine greets you with notes of almond meal, complex florals, bees wax, white pepper and cardamom, ending with the brightness of cumquat marmalade.
