Chêne Bleu Astralabe 2018 is an outstanding red wine from the Ventoux appellation in the southern Rhône region of France. This vintage is a blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 15% Mourvèdre. It has a deep purple color with aromas of dark fruits, blackberry, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with flavors of ripe black fruits, black pepper, and a subtle touch of vanilla. The 2018 vintage in the Rhône Valley was characterized by a hot and dry summer, leading to healthy and concentrated grapes with excellent structure and balance.
