An aromatic bouquet of dark red fruit, brandy & spices, mouthwatering fresh berries and light tannins - 100% Merlot Bordeaux: quality at an affordable price!
Garnet colour with a hint of vermillion. Very fresh nose dominated by liquorice with a hint of star anise. Subtle hints of vanilla. A full-bodied, fleshy attack on the palate with silky, mellow tannins coming through. Long finish with quite a fresh aftertaste.
A very unique wine - made from merlot grapes that are gently pressed and no skin introduced, so the juice is white. Grapefruit on the nose, honey notes on the palate and oily mouth feel, but crisp and dry.

After a warm and dry winter, spring 2016 was fresh and exceptionally wet. Slow vegetative development has gradually accelerated. The flowering could thus be done in a homogeneous way, without stress. With a comfortable productive potential, the rather dry summer has been extended in order to offer a nice concentration and a great maturity to this exceptional and unexpected vintage. The providential Indian summer of this year has offered us harvests of rare qualitative precision. Each terroir has been able to express its potential and aromatic complexity.
