Uncomplicated red apple and light almond scents on the nose. The palate is balanced with fine acidity, with a lightly spiced finish.
Pale in colour and fresh on the nose, left bank austerity shines through at first, then the main body of the wine is much fleshier behind. Even with, some heat at the finish, but more spice. Good grip though, this has potential to be a grand vin de garde
Green apple and freshly-sliced pears are present on the nose, the palate is well balanced with a lightly-spiced entry, hints of stem ginger interpolating the malic fruit with a nicely weighted finish.

Crafted from less than generous yields, raised in 20% new oak, Phillipe Harmand has done a terrific job tempering this wines natural exuberance with stylish texture and refreshment.
