This single site wine is sourced from the O'Leary family vineyards in Oakbank, Spice, white pepper and mulberry dominate both the bouquet and palate. Maturation in French Oak barriques has added complexity, enhancing the power and elegance of this quintessential Adelaide Hills Shiraz.

A deep crimson with bright purple. Blackberries, tobacco, cedar, anise spice. Brooding cassis and blackberry fruit with notes of tobacco leaf and mocha. Firm, tight-grained tannin structure with a balanced finish.

A quintessential Nero d'Avola with fantastic perfume - notes of blueberries and raspberries with anise spice and a hint of chocolate oak. Juicy and vibrant with a silky smooth texture and fine velvety tannins, this Nero d'Avola underwent a 10% whole bunch ferment and spent nine months in seasoned French oak. Bright colour with purple hues. Aromas of mixed blue and red berries, forest floor and subtle spice. Soft, fleshy blue and red berry flavours persist with a medium body on the palate and light velvet tannins.

The bouquet shows powerful blackberry and dark jube fruits with complexity. On the palate the flavours are intense and concentrated, balanced with beautiful acidity and long fine grained tannin.

Bright juniper notes compliment the Mediterranean herbs, creating a dry, citrus taste.

Earthy cherry, ripe plums with spice and savoury scrumptiousness.

Generous fruit weight, firm acidity and fine compact tannins and a long finish.

Over the years Ocean 8 have honed the style of the ‘Verve’ and it is now firmly entrenched as one of Australia's most distinctive examples of Australian Chardonnay.

The 2016 Verve Chardonnay has soft white peach complimenting a backbone of crisp grapefruit acidity & lemon curd texture. The style is lean & clean with balance and length.

A hint of vanilla and elegant earl grey tea & rhubarb follow through on the palate with soft tannin and regional characteristics of dark red cherries.

The 2016 vintage is a supple, richer style of Pinot noir.

Ocean 8 Pinot Gris has wonderful aromas of tangerine, mandarin & pears - an exotic mix.

All these fruit flavours fill a rich and textured palate, a desirable character of low yielding concentrated Pinot Gris.

The finish is dry to some palates, slightly sweet to others, depending upon individual threshold, but the crisp acid finish is evident to all.
