A summer pudding of lifted red fruits, berries and a hit of cinnamon and Asian spice. Opulent, intense red berries balanced by soft velvety tannins and supple oak with great balance from the acid renowned in Barossa Grenache.
Very expressive and perfumed and made in pure juicy and early drinking style Cabernet Franc.
Very fresh and fine with lovely light texture and very little tannin this is a perfect wine for spring and summer and early drinking.
Super attractive and smashable.
The new vintage is bright and perfumed, packed with succulent cherry fruit and finishing with crunchy freshness alongside a lick of mineral and dried chilli—a fine release, and just what you want from this type of agile, juicy Cabernet Franc. As Chinon’s most famous son, François Rabelais, once wrote: “Drink always before the thirst, and it will never come upon you.”
Harmonious and elegant wine with soft tannins, true to its terroir. Organic certified.
Grenache Noir: 65%, Cinsault: 5%, Mourvèdre: 15%, Syrah: 15%
A blend of Grenache (80%) and Syrah (20%) from wineyards just outside the boundary of Châteauneuf du Pape.
Ruby deep colour, this wine shows a fruity and spicy nose.
The palate is round, long and complex with abundant body and fruit as well as terrific purity and texture.
Dense and full bodied, rich and concentrated black plum, mulberries, tobacco and fresh leather with surprising polished tannins.
On the nose, this wine displays vibrant aromas of fresh red berries, such as raspberry and strawberry, along with a hint of earthiness and a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is juicy and lively with flavors of red fruit and subtle herbal notes, and a crisp acidity that provides balance and structure.
Domaine Saint Jacques Côtes du Rhône is a beautiful balance of ripe red fruits, freshness and roundness.
Tannins are well-matured and smooth.
Powerful aromas of red fruits - a balanced palate of ripe fruit, freshness & roundness.
Chianti Classico is the cornerstone of Felsina’s production. The vineyards are located in Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the southeastern part of the Chianti Classico appellation, to the southeast of Siena.
Felsina's Chianti Classico is fruity, fine and elegant aromas dominated by wild berries, along with array of spicy notes. Fruity on the palate with good tannins and a lingering finish.
An elegant medium bodied wine, fresh fruit and vibrancy with a lovely fresh acidity supporting the complexity of fruit palate
Vibrant red/black colour with a deep opaque centre. The nose displays a complex blend of violets and spicy black pepper notes of the Shiraz with the more savoury licorice aromas from the Tempranillo. Shiraz and Tempranillo are wonderful partners; two old varieties coming together to make a new vibrant blend.
Really good value red. Nice fruity nose and buttery palate smooth and rounded. Perfect for drinking now, great BBQ red or for sitting round watching Netflix.
Black purple and very deep in colour. Vibrant. Classic tempranillo aromatics of black cherry, pepper, cherry pip, African Violets, cola nut, spearmint, and - of course - a 2B pencil's lead. Juicy yet dry, but then again tempranillo is a creature of split, multiple personalities. There are the fruity shiraz-like flavours of earth and plums; and the silkiness of texture and acidity more often associated with pinot noir. At each stage of the palate there is an interplay with fruit and acid and tannin, making this an ever-engaging red wine. The final highlight is the never-ending length of the wine.
