In the glass, the wine has a deep golden color, reflecting the richness and complexity of its aromas and flavors. On the nose, there are intense notes of honey, apricot, and ripe peach, along with a hint of toasted almonds and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and luscious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The flavors are a complex mix of dried fruits, candied orange peel, and honey, with a long, lingering finish that leaves a pleasant impression on the palate.

A few months after bottling, Les Pelerins de Lafon-Rochet 2016 shows a very good balance with a nice tannic structure and a good freshness. Taste of good fresh fruit, cherry and blackcurrant and notes of cedar and white pepper. This wine is typical of the Saint Estephe appellation and will open up to become even more enjoyable in the years to come.

Lynch-Bages 2005 is tannic, firm & young - excellent fruit and balance - a superb vintage!

Wonderful bouquet of fresh crushed blackberries, and typical characteristics of graphite. Great fruit and concentration and plenty of tannins on the long finish.

Striking violets and blueberries here, Some leafy note too. The palate adds some light, creamy oak, tastes of summer-berry pudding and supple tannins to close.
