After a warm and dry winter, spring 2016 was fresh and exceptionally wet. Slow vegetative development has gradually accelerated. The flowering could thus be done in a homogeneous way, without stress. With a comfortable productive potential, the rather dry summer has been extended in order to offer a nice concentration and a great maturity to this exceptional and unexpected vintage. The providential Indian summer of this year has offered us harvests of rare qualitative precision. Each terroir has been able to express its potential and aromatic complexity.

It offers up a succession of delicate aromas of plums, blackberries, liquorice and earthy notes on the nose. The wine is medium-bodied, silky tannin with well-balanced and excellent length on the finish.
 

The 2008 vintage is one of the great classics. The nose opens up with fresh notes of cedar and menthol combined with red berry aromas. Well-integrated oak lends this wine its delicate roasted notes and spice. After airing, ripe and intense fruits come through and confirm our expectations.
