This is our first attempt, so the winemaking will evolve, but the wine has surprised us. It’s pure and fruit driven as you’d expect but somehow there’s a savoury interest. Dark fruited but not heavy in anyway, it’s still got a little Fred Astaire (light on its feet) feel. Frisky but serious. Firmly structured with chunky, chewy tannin and focused through the finish.
Aromatic plum and raspberries with freshness and balance, the wine has a round central core of red fruit that gives way to a complex mid-palate full of cassis, dark cherry, spice and vanilla.

Keir, a complex wine, is an absolute novelty. It is in fact the first production with vinification and refining in amphora of Tua Rita. Method that is lost in the history of wine culture, as is known, has the strength and the privilege of enhancing the varietal characteristics of the grape. It has a limited production.
