Jean-Luc Jamet is an iconic producer of the North Rhône Valley, home to the best Syrah the world has to offer. The "Enclave" cuvée of Côte du Rhône comes from within the Côte-Rôtie appellation in Bonnivières in the Côte Brune.
Up front, this wine has all the hallmarks of the McRae Wood profile, then a wave of elegance, florals and spice, and a classic brooding finish.
Deep dark fruits of blackberry, black cherry and blue fruits. Layered blackberry and blue fruits with hints of iodine, sage and lavender. Well integrated tannins and a fine and bright finish.

Lifted black fruit, plum and blackberry with hints of anise, clove and earth. Packed with a multitude of vibrant, powerful fruit layers and a commanding depth of flavour. Also displaying hints of spice and licorice finishing with integrated, fine grippy tannins. While we intend for the wine to be approachable in its youth, it will benefit from at least five years of cellaring and should be in good drinking zone for at least fifteen years.
