The Coates VP Shiraz is Inky crimson red in colour, perfumed aromas of cassis and plum fruits accompanied by aniseed and black earth. 

Collector Marked Tree Red Shiraz 2019 is a premium red wine from the Canberra District wine region of Australia. Made primarily from Shiraz grapes with a small percentage of Viognier, this vintage has a deep ruby color with aromas of blackberry, plum, and pepper, with a hint of floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of black fruit, chocolate, and a subtle hint of vanilla. A cult and very limited wine - the nose has clear notes of olives, which are calmed down and reveal sweet spices - a high minerality and remarkable power with balanced acidity and fruit., super balanced acidity and fruit. Clear notes of liquorice, pepper and cinnamon on the palate.

The 2021 has elements of Alain Graillot's Crozes (peppery, fruit-forward Syrah) combined with warming, baked fruit and spice notes that transport the drinker to North Africa. You don't have to accompany it with a tagine, but your guests will probably appreciate it if you make the effort!
