Dowie Doole McLaren Vale Cane Cut Viognier has a fresh, lifted nose redolent of ripe apricots, figs and quinces which leads to the elegant, sensuous palate. While the palate is rich, it is never cloying, with a long skein of acid running through to the clean, crisp finish. A delicious, lighter style 'sticky'.

This Riesling produced by Dr Loosen has a lovely firm character on the nose, although in quite a delicate style. Very fine character, pear fruit, stylish but upright, well defined yet richly textured too. An excellent wine!
