Bodega Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard 'Fortuna Terrae' Malbec is a luxurious and powerful wine with intense aromas of blackberry, black currant, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with flavors of ripe black fruit, chocolate, and spice, supported by firm tannins and a long, lingering finish. This complex Malbec pairs well with grilled meats, stews, and strong cheeses.

Very aromatic, spicy black fruit, moderate acidity, rounded and smooth. Elegant. We expect this wine to age well for 30 years or more.

The wines are quite elegant, with high natural acidity and low alcohols. Powerful minerality and texture are this year’s trademarks.

2020 was a complicated vintage due to Covid management but it produced delicate, deep, spicy wines. It is a very elegant and subtle Alion.

2021 was a vintage to savour, to enjoy tasting the grapes, with their crisp, fruity skins and noble textures. The wines developed gently and the winemaking flowed smoothly. It was a year to remember and one that we are very proud of. A balanced, silky and profound vintage.
